  3. Women’s Rights/Suffrage • Women’s rights: • D) Demand for voting rights gets big boost • 15thamendment (gave blacks the right to vote) • New laws (many who didn’t vote were voting) • Non-Slave territories allowed blacks to vote there

  4. Women’s Rights/Suffrage • 2) Opponents to women’s voting: Women were already represented by their husband/fathers/sons/brothers • A) Women’s interests were already protected.
