PrerequisitesFirst Degree BSN Students • RN License • English Composition: ENG 111-112 • Foreign Language: considered met if you graduated from high school before 12/31/85; took three years in high school or took two years of two separate languages. Otherwise take 101-102 of a foreign language. • Developmental Psychology: PSYC 230* • Introduction to Sociology: SOC 200* • Microbiology: BIO 205* • Anatomy & Physiology: BIO 141-142* • Literature: ENG 235, 237, 241, 242, 243, 244, 251, 252, or 255 • History: HIS 101, 102, 111, 112, 121, or 122 • Philosophy: PHI 101, 102, 211, 212, 220, or REL 230 • Fine & Performing Arts: ART 101, 102, MUS 121, 122, CST 130, HUM 201, or 202 • Chemistry: CHEM 101-102* • Statistics: MATH 157 or 240* (*Students with a previous Bachelors may need these courses.)

  7. Application Process • University Application • $50 fee (Waived if on financial aid at BRCC) • Official Transcripts from all previous institutions. • Immediate On-Site • School of Nursing Application • Copy of RN license

Quick Facts • Tuition Rates • Undergraduate In-State $236.00 p.c.h. • Graduate In-State $338.00 p.c.h. • No Clinicals-Advanced Placement credit at no cost (33 credits) • Participate on line or on site at PVCC • Fall Admission ONLY • 2 courses per term for 2 years=BSN • 36 credits at ODU, Monday evenings or on line
