  3. The power within the characters Roger has forgotten that violence is wrong and has nothing stopping him anymore. “Roger took up a small stone and flung I between the twins, aiming to miss... some source of power began to pulse in Rogers body.” This power has grown and allowed him to kill Piggy. Ralph has become weaker and less in charge.

  4. The power within the characters Jack has become a crueller, more evil and harsher and has gained more strength. Also Jack is no longer Jack, it seems like he has become a new character called 'chief' a much harsher and evil character. “The chief spoke to him angrily.” The struggle of power has made Simon and Piggy dead. “His head opened and stuff came out and turned red.”

  5. “You're talking too much” said Jack Merridew, “shut up fatty.” - pg17 chapter 1 “I’m not going to play any longer not with you!” – pg140 chapter 7 “ Do our dance! Come on! Dance!” - pg167 chapter 9 “ Ralph went for the end of innocence, the darkness of man’s heart, and the fall through the air of the true, wise friend called Piggy” – pg225 chapter 12 Power in Lord Of The Flies.
