  2. Meaning & Definition Process of moving an item from point A to point B is called as Transportation. Safe, efficient, reliable and sustainable movements of persons and goods over time and space is also known as Transportation.

  5. Air Transportation Transport of persons or goods from one Point to another through Air is known as Air Transportation. It is the expensive but fastest mean of transport. E.g. Helicopter, Glider, Aeroplane.

  6. Land Transportation Transport of persons or goods from one Point to another on Land is known as Land Transportation. It is the not expensive . It includes Rail and Road Transportation means.

  7. Water Transportation Transport of persons or goods from one Point to another through Water is known as Water Transportation.
