  3. Joint projects - possibilities • Bilateral scale: • Package (~7) of bilateral projects -> DFG + NSFC • IRTG: Int. Research Training Group • (Int. Graduiertenkolleg) • SG-JIRP: Joint interdisciplinary research program • (Transregio) agreement signed on April 11, 2005 • Joint Priority Research Program • (Schwerpunktprogramm) • Basically National Funding: NSFC - DFG

Joint projects – next steps -> put all presentations on workshop web-page -> collect more infos on possibilities: Chinese Academy of Science, DAAD, BMBF-WTZ, (contacts to NSFC, DFG exist) Basic question: concerted approach or not? If yes: Package (~5-10?) of bilateral projects -> DFG + NSFC, others (?) -> 1-page description (title, partner, abstract, funding applied) until Nov. 15 to: g.gerbeth@fz-rossendorf.de -> outline proposal -> selection and invitation to work out full applications until Nov. 30 -> full applications due until Jan. 31 -> control readings, general framework description -> submission of the package in March
