全國頂尖大學五年五百億補助 論文發表相對成長率興大奪冠. 本校 SCI 、 SSCI 國際學術期刊發表績效， 2002~2008 年相對成長率表現較其他研究型大學為佳。 依 SCI 、 SSCI 論文發表數 / 教師人數 / 單位接受補助金額，中興大學領先各校，以 0.26 之成長斜率居冠。 本校將在既有的基礎上持續前行，並追求更耀眼的學術表現，期許未來的五至十年內，本校的重點研究領域能達亞洲頂尖，並晉升為具有特色的一流國際大學。 ( 資料由研發處頂尖計畫辦公室提供 ). 六所頂尖大學 2002 年 -2008 年 、 2004 年 -2008 年
