  3. Systeemvereisten • Besturingssysteem • MS Windows 95 • MS Windows 98 • Windows NT 4.0 • Harde Schijfruimte • Installatie: 80 Mbyte • Projecten: Extra schijfruimte nodig • Geheugen • Minstens 16 Mbyte fysische RAM • Totaal (fysische RAM + virtuele schijfswap): min. 48 Mbyte

  4. Download & Installatie • Www.altera.com/education/univ/unv-student_get.html • 1. Download de MAX_PLUS II Student Edition software • 2. Vraag een licentie file aan • 3. Volg de installatie-instructies

  5. Software Downloaden • Www.altera.com/education/univ/unv-studentreg.html • Lees & Klik op “I Agree” • Klik op de links om te downloaden • student923.exe • student923_vhd.exe (patch) • Bewaar beide bestanden op uw harde schijf

  6. Licentie aanvragen • Ga naar http://www.altera.com/authcode/index-u.html • Prik Version 9.23 aan • Klik Continue button • Vul disk volume serial nummer in • DOS venster: VOL • Klik Continue button • Vul het formulier in • Klik Continue button • De licentie komt per mail

  7. Software Installatie • Dubbelklik op ‘student923.exe’ => Het setup programma begint te lopen … • Volg de instructies ...

  8. Software Installatie • Sluit alle windows toepassingen • Klik next button

  11. Software Installatie • Vul uw naam in • Vul de naam van uw school in • Klik next button

  12. Software Installatie • 3 paketten worden per default geinstalleerd • Gebruik de default locatie • Controleer de disk space • Klik next button

  13. Software Installatie • De tutorial wordt per default geinstalleerd • Gebruik de default locatie • Klik next button

  14. Software Installatie • Gebuik de default programma folders • Klik next button

  15. Software Installatie • Het programma wordt nu geinstalleerd... • Aanrader: leg na de installatie een snelkoppeling naar het programma op de windows desktop • Open windows verkenner • Ga naar de MaxPlus2 directory • Sleep de file ‘MaxStart.exe’ naar het bureaublad

  17. VHDL patch installeren • Dubbelklik op ‘student923_vhd.exe’ • De WINZIP self extractor wordt geopend • De locatie staat per default juist(zelfde directory als MaxPlusII installatie) • Selecteer ‘Overwrite files without prompting’ • Klik unzip button • De file wordt ge-unzipped

  18. Setup van de licentie • Maak een directory ‘c:\mp2student’ • Save de licentie-file ‘license.dat’ in deze directory • Start Max+PlusII • Klik in het menu options -> license setup

  19. Setup van de licentie • Het volgende window verschijnt • Geef de correcte license file in(c:\mp2student\license.dat)

  20. Installatie extra drivers • Windows NT gebruikers: 2 drivers extra installeren • Windows 95 & 98: Software is geinstalleerd en klaar voor gebruik (ga verder naar de laatste slide)

  21. Installatie ‘ByteBlaster’ driver • Open het ‘control panel’ • windows START button • Settings • Control Panel

  23. Installatie ‘ByteBlaster’ driver • Kies de tab ‘devices’ • Klik op Add

  24. Installatie ‘ByteBlaster’ driver • Kies ‘unlisted or updated driver’ (default) • Klik OK

  25. Installatie ‘ByteBlaster’ driver • Klik Browse • Ga naar ‘C:\MaxPlus2\drivers • Klik OK • Klik OK

  26. Installatie ‘ByteBlaster’ driver • Kies ‘Altera ByteBlaster’ • Klik OK • Klik ‘Don’t restart now’=> er moet nog een driver geinstalleerd worden

  27. Installatie ‘Altera programmer’ • Herhaal de vorige stappen • Kies ‘Altera programmer’ ipv ‘ByteBlaster’ • Gebruik de default waarden voor de HardWare Setup • Klik OK en herstart de PC
