  1. RIGHTRIDES Daisy Ryu and Amina Galadima

  2. What is RightRides? • A non profit organization that provides free and safe car rides home to women and members of the LGBT community, between the hours of 11:59pm and 3:00am on the weekends. Currently they only have 3 donated cars, and are in of need more volunteers.

  3. Problem/Situation • Women in large cities where public transportation is the most common form of transportation, having to walk home alone to or from the bus/ train stop. • Women are being raped, sexually harassed when walking home late at night.

  4. Objective • To bring awareness to RightRides. • To gain more sponsors and supporters • To purchase at least two more cars • To open an office in Washington, D.C.

  5. Targeted Audience • Women and members of the LGBT, Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender, community

  6. Tactics • Rally/ Walks- speakers who have been a victim of sexual harassment or rape due to having walk home alone. • Volunteers can write RightRides information on sidewalk in chalk so pedestrians could see.

  7. Tactics • Billboards, television advertisements. • Ads on trains. They tend to have delays, detours and shutdowns often, so the ads would be placed on the trains most delayed/shutdown. • Send out PSAs to corporations that support women’s safety.

  8. Budget
