Strategic, Marketing Plan & Budget • Into the core:covers realigning with all relevant academic features and needs, focusing on our clients, getting to their real needs, delivering on critical services, decisively moving into research support, creating profile based services, etc.; • The click:covers improved use of information technology, including digitisation, technology integration and all other technology issues, e-mail on all PCs, using technology such as e-buying with credit card methods, etc.;  • Your place: targets enhanced client friendliness, aligning with the needs and the service delivery preferences of the Millennial user, making the Library casual, friendly, coffee shop idea, using cell phones to communicate with clients more easily, etc.; • Our memory:covers initiatives to create a repository of CPUT information, including academic documents such as electronic theses and dissertations, but also to capture (before it is too late) the old Technikon archival histories, and begin building a new CPUT institutional memory; and  • Free to chase dreams: staff issues such as job assignment flexibility, multi-skilling, empowerment of staff, the latitude to do experimentation and to take risks, incentivising ideas and rewarding success, doing much more internal research and development and obtaining the funding to pursue it as it should be done in a true university. • Budget – printing, entertainment, gifts, capital expenditure
