  2. Resume Format - Chronological Who should select the chronological template? Anyone who has been working in public health and has recent jobs in the field.

  3. Resume Format - Chronological Why select the chronological template? Most common style – and recruiters like this format! Easy to follow and easy to read. Accounts for all time – no gaps between jobs. It is reverse order (present job to past job) Focuses on job titles, organization names, accomplishment statements.

It is the crown of the resume – you add this last - after you build the rest of the resume. It is your elevator pitch on paper! The content of resume must support it.

Use concrete data when possible (20% growth).   9. Including a summary of the project’s scope of work can help the reader understand your experience. Especially if you want to call attention to the experience. List accomplishments in order of importance based on the position you are applying for. Tweak and change them for each job application.
