Developing our Coaching PRESENCE: CHICoach Comments: • Take care of self: exercise, good sleep, healthy routines that allow me to be present. • Create a space for my client and I to share before I begin a session. • Mentally remove the "clutter" and open myself to what the client brings to the space. • As an internal coach, staying on schedule is very important for presence • Pause during session to embrace quiet • Turn away from my computer, no multi-tasking! • Monitor my body during the session, noticing tightness, clenched jaw, etc • Read centering statements before coaching sessions • Clear myself, journaling, sitting, noticing
