  3. Process Overview • Sequence of events (automatic) • Customer configures order for NEW MPS500 via EC (produces QRN) • Customer places order referencing QRN • SAP drives material fulfillment through flex • Software Licensing is passed to SMS • SMS produces a URN (unique reference number) • SMS drives a file to KRS containing the Customer PO#, Avaya SO#, System ID (assigned by SMS) and a listing of all licensing attributes. • KRS loads the file into its db • Production of Keycode License file (manual) • When the CSH or Customer has reached the stage where they have identified the server they will use to fulfill the selected order (and therefore know the Host ID(s) or MAC address’s) they: • Access the KRS as they do today • Select the Retrieve Keycode function from the sidebar • Search for the order by querying on Avaya Sales Order #, or Customer PO# • The CSH user then notes the URN number contained within the Product Info section • User then selects from the KRS sidebar Generate KC using URN • User populates the required fields (URN, MAC or Host ID) and submits for generation • KRS then sends the previously entered data to SMS • SMS generates the license file specified from KRS based on the URN for feature content. • Once KC license is generated SMS posts this to the KRS • The user is redirected from the KRS screen automatically to the Retrieve and download page of the KRS • User retrieves the KC license and applies to the system.
