Maxing Out Efforts. Total Professional Responsibilities (TPR) is the combination of all effort (e.g. administration, clinical research, and teaching activities) at both MUSC and the VAMC. MUSC & VA TPR can exceed 1.0 FTE but not 1.5 FTE. VA Effort must be ≤ 8/8 MUSC Effort must be ≤ 1.0.
