  2. Recommendation • Provide opportunities for face to face interaction between Volunteer Leaders, Admin Staff and constituents. • Initially: At SLSs and LTC • Longer Term: At SLSs, Group Meetings and District Meetings

  3. Initiative Overview • Initiative Develop or improve communication between Staff, Volunteer Leaders and Unit Leaders. • Rationale More personal relationships will improve communication and cooperation to fulfill Members needs.

  4. Assumptions Assumptions: • Some Units don’t know who their Staff Support or Volunteer Leaders are. • Units may be assigned new Staff Support in near future. • Volunteer and Staff assignments will change over time. • Meeting someone face to face improves all forms of communication. i.e. email, telecons

Recommendation • A personalized email to all unit leader include contact info and pictures of their volunteer leader and staff support. • A personalized “leaders only” homepage on ASME.org that includes a directory and other information. • A configurable personalized “leaders only” homepage on ASME.org that includes a directory and information of their choice.(Migrate to all members in future)

  10. Initiative Overview • Initiative: Provide a medium for communicating staff, leaders contact info and other information. • Rationale: You can not get help if you don’t know where to go
