Faculty Internship Program • a) Partnership with SDSU Depts of Mathematics, Biology (pending), Geography (pending) • b) Intern Training • 5 hours per semester for two semesters • stipend of $100 per semester, paid by the District. • training will include class management, pedagogy (androgogy), and best practices • the faculty intern shall receive feedback from Department Chair of Mathematics, full-time mathematics faculty, Dean. • c) Intern as peer coach • second semester • provide informal, non-evaluative feedback to a new faculty intern(s)
