  1. No need for any additional heating even when the outside temperature goes -5C! • Construction of such greenhouses is simple and not expensive: construction technology is based on the one used by our ancestry – wattle and daub walls, self and easy made bricks out of clay, boarding cage or non fired bricks; • Do not require additional man power; • Steady against winds and snow. Opportunity to grow products all over the year! Do not require substantial investments and much time for exploitation! HIGH PROFIT!

  2. How it works? • The greenhouse accumulates the warmth obtained from the sun during the daytime; • Even when the outside temperature is -5С, it is possible to maintain required temperature inside the greenhouse.

  3. Step 1: How to choose a place? • Select a place with deposition of ground waters on at least 3,5-4,0 meters depth.Otherwise too much humidity to be generated inside a greenhouse. • Take the compass! Define disposition of a greenhouse using the scheme below. «Open» (cage) side a greenhouse should be directed at the South. North West S E East South W N

  4. Step 2: Starting the work 1. What size is a greenhouse you plan to construct?Lateral sides of a greenhouse (width) should be less than 12-14 meters, otherwise construction of a cage will become too expensive. 2. Prepare a trench and fill up a foundation. Do not forget about containment! 40 sm. 1 м. Foundation under the cage of a greenhouse Foundation under three walls 60 sm. 60 sm. • Foundation under the cage, i.e. south wall of a greenhouse: • Depth at least 60 sm.; • Width at least 40 sm.. • Foundation under the other sides: • Depth at least 60 sm.; • Width at least 1 м.

  5. Step 3: Constructing walls 1. The walls of a greenhouse can be out of wattle and daub, self and easy made bricks, boarding cage or non fired bricks. It is important to ensure containment of walls! 2. Recommended width of walls – 1 meterand 3-meters height! 3. The walls should be plastered with straw from the outside. Plastic pipes can be built inside the north (long) wall, to heat up a greenhouse when it is too cold outside (lower that -5С). 1 м. Plaster with straw North wall 3 м.

  6. Step 4: Building a cage • A cage of a greenhouse can be built out of steel section, aluminum profile, wood or steel rods; • Carrying capacity of a cage should not be less than 50 kg. on 1 м2, considering the amount of possible precipitations; • Wind-loading capacity should be not less than 70 km/hour, that corresponds to maximum wind speed in our region. • To determine steadiness of a cage consult with an engineer.

  7. Step 5: Ensure air circulation inside the greenhouse Door

  8. Step 6: Thermo-blanket production • Stuff: fleece, PVC, sheet wadding, cotton wool, folgizol, sintheponor polystyrene Tarpaulin or waterproof canvas. Density – not less than 200 gr/m2 Foil Coarse. Density – not less than 400 gr/m2
