Revisions to Ownership Share and Asset Registration Process

Proposed revisions to Manual M-28 and M-RPA to allow daily changes in Ownership Shares and address known issues in Asset Registration Process. These changes aim to provide added flexibility for Market Participants. No Tariff changes required.

Three Sets of Changes are Proposed • Category One: • Changes required to implement the change in process for Ownership Share Changes summarized on a slide titled “Ownership Share Revisions”. • Category Two: • Changes to the Asset Registration Process identified by Market Participants or in audits. These are summarized in a slide titled “Asset Registration Revisions (known issues)”. • Category Three: • General Clean-Up Changes to the two Manuals. These are summarized in two slides titled “General Clean-Up”

Overview • This project started with inquiries from Host Participant Assigned Meter Readers and ISO staff about allowing Ownership Share changes to become effective within a month; • No changes to the notice provisions are proposed; • The current monthly limitation appears to be based upon implementation limits that can now be overcome.

  9. Next Steps Schedule • These revisions allow added flexibility for Market Participants; • Today is the first presentation in the normally three-meeting process towards a vote; and • There are no Tariff changes required to permit this.
