  3. To form the near future in Spanish you follow 3 steps… • 1.-Use the present tense of “ir” : How? I You (sing) He She We You (pl) They Yo Tú Él Ella Nosotros Vosotros Ellos Voy Vas Va Va Vamos Váis Van • 2.- Then “a” For example ir to go bailar to dance salir to go out visitar to visit comerto eat jugar to play • 3.- Followed by an infinitive.   4. Now have a go at putting the following verbs into the correct form of the near future tense. Show how you work it out. What is an infinitive? • If you look up a verb (doing word) in the dictionary it will give you the infinitive. • It is the basic form of the verb before it has been conjugated. • In Spanish it will either end in AR, IR or ER. • In English it is a verb with ‘to’ in front of it, for example: • to sing, to play, to run, to dance, to eat, to live
