  4. Availing Prayer must be… • Intentional • Our prayers must befocused! • Our prayers must beeffective! • Our prayers must befervent! • Availing Prayer must be… • Forceful

  5. Application for Life Change • Purpose to be ‘where the action is’ in your prayer life! • If you want to effect change in your family, your work place, your community, and your nation… • You must take effective and fervent action in prayer!

  6. “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

  7. Priority of Hopeful Prayer… • Priority I Rejoicing Prayer • Priority II Unceasing Prayer • Priority III Thankful Prayer • Thankful that the Lord knows our need. • Thankful that the Lord hears our prayers. • Thankful that the Lord will answer.

  8. Application for Life Change • –Make Prayer a Priority • Make prayer a priority in your daily schedule… • …make an appointment to meet with the Lord in prayer.

  9. “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” -Ephesians 3:20-21

  12. Principle three • –God is able to do even more! • God is able to do over and above, with greaterabundancethan our human minds can grasp. • All that we ask • Allthat we think

  13. Application for Life Change: Submit all of the cares and concerns that burden you to Him. His Word testifies of His abundant, unlimited power and His ability to accomplish anything. Rest your hope there!

  14. “Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.” 1 John 5:14-15

  16. Confidence in Him • Confidence by faith… • “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” • -Hebrews 11:1

  17. Confident, Hopeful Prayer • ‘avail much’ • needs to be a priority in our lives • works through the exceedingly, abundant ability and power of God • We stand in His promise that He hears and is willing to answer our petitions.

  18. Application for Life Change: On Thursday, May 7th please join us in observing the National Day of Prayer. Please pray for our nation throughout the day in these specific areas: 1. Government 2. Military 3. Media 4. Business 5. Education 6. Church 7. Family
