  2. What is the Purpose ? • Commemoration = “in remembrance of me” • Communion = identifies one with Jesus • Proclamation = proclaim our faith • Dedication = covenant • Anticipation = “till He come” • Spiritual Nourishment = “weak and sickly” “strong and healthy”

  3. When Do We Take ? • First day of the week = Acts 20:7 • Does it become meaningless ? • What about Thursday or Saturday? • What about Sunday Night ? • Should we take it to the sick / shut in ?

  4. What Do We Take ? Bread “unleavened” Loaf or Bread Fruit of the Vine “cup” - juice of the grape Never called wine One cup or individual ? “drink ye all of it” - “drink of it, all of you”
