  5. YOUR EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAMis vital to the well-being of your employees -and the overall success of your business. Why have a Chaplain as part of your E. A. P. ? Police and fire departments, hospitals and the military have long had chaplains as part of their E.A.P. team. After September 11, 2001 the chaplain’s role in the corporate world took on much greater significance. Wise employers recognized the benefits that a chaplain can provide.

  6. Why Chaplains in the Workplace? Today, many companies are acutely aware of a pressing need for one-on-one assistance for their employees while on the job. A large percentage of people do not have any relationship with a church or organized religious group. Yet, the problems at home don't go away...they are simply brought, as emotional baggage, to work each day.

  7. Why Chaplains in the Workplace? • 17% of the workforce will experience a crisis event that will interrupt or adversely effect their work activity. • 46% of employees who leave their jobs do so because of a feeling of not being valued. • 70% of the workforce today do not have a religious faith, that they practice. (Department of Labor statistics)
