  1. Influencing mentally is similar to brainwashing. Brainwashing uses manipulative methods to convince people into doing what the manipulator wants them to do. What people do to influence others is to act as a “friend” and in fact they’re the enemy. They use methods like: making them comfortable and friendly or telling them lies that can change their personality. Other ways of persuasion are: media manipulation, bullying, interrogation, advertisements or even selling goods. Can someone influence you mentally?

  2. How can socialising skills be essential to good mental health? • Socialising helps you find friends and peers to guide you through life. Using socialising to your advantage, you can greatly influence your mental health to increase. • An example of this is if you’re a person who is down. You then find great, joyful friends which can change your mental health by making it more positive. Your peers and environment change the way you think. • A happy environment will make you positive whereas a depressing and dirty environment will make you feel negative. Happiness Sadness
