The network infrastructure • Based on ~30 Points of Presence (NR) in mainland France • 7 Points of Presence overseas (worldwide) • Backbone infrastructure provided by several telcos (CEGETEL, France Telecom, Level3, 9Telecom) • WDM lightpaths and dark fibres • A unique NMS provider: Communications & Systems (CS) GRID@LARGE Workshop, Lisbon, 29-30 August 2005
