These measures are organized around three chords playing one the first note of the scale. • Resources • If our text motivated you to know more about r&b and if you want to know some singers, you can read some magazines like: World up, Black beat, Fly, Vibe and you can also surf on the Net. • Our opinion • We like R&B because we like the singers and their look. 3. About R&B, we chose a singer that we love the most. Her name is Mary J. Bige. She got the best R&B album this year and during her career she made more than three albums : what the 411 In 1992, my life in 1994, share my world in 1997 etc. Her first two albums sent shock waves to the music world. She was barely out of her teens, unaccustomed to the course of public life.It took time for her to make peace with her own success. Today, Mary J. Blige is a contented woman. She is generally acknowledged as one of the great R&B singers of modern times. Mary’s new MCA album, SHARE MY WORLD, says with singular clarity that hers is a world of love, faith, and artistry.
