Abstract • This paper compares the performance of • DS-CDMA applying MRC (Maximum Ratio Combining) at the receiver. • OFDM-CDMA applying MLD (Maximum Likelihood Detection) at the receiver • By Monte Carlo simulation, the results show that OFDM-CDMAoutperformsDS-CDMA in terms of spectral efficiency and receiver complexity.
