Chatter • Archived Groups in chatter • @mention chatter group- In addition to mentioning individual people, you can now mention groups in your posts and comments. • Chatter Thanks- Thanks is a feature which can be used to recognize the coworkers. You can add one to twelve badges in your post. • Increased Post and Comment Size- The length of the post and comment is now increased from 1000 characters to 5000 characters. • Sub-tabs in profile page- It makes the profile slicker and you also have the ability to add custom sub-tabs within the profile. Price Book is also available in search layouts. • Social Accounts and Contacts- Profile images from Facebook or Twitter for contacts, accounts, or leads may be visible even if you are not currently logged in to those services. Service • Salesforce knowledge access for internal use- Salesforce Knowledge read access is available for full Salesforce licenses without the Knowledge User license. • More custom fields for Article Type- Nine more custom fields can be added to Article Type and they are Article Currency, Currency, Email, Formula, Lookup Relationship, Number, Percent, Phone, Picklist(Dependent), url. • Search Articles to create Smart Article Link- While writing an article, you can quickly search your existing Salesforce Knowledge Articles and add a smart link, which automatically adjusts when the name or URL of the article is changed. • Force.com Canvas for Open CTI- you can take your new or existing applications and make them available to users as part of their call-control tool with Salesforce. Performance Edition includes all Unlimited functionality plus clean, targeted lead and customer data from Data.com, coaching and feedback tools from Work.com, trusted identity services from Identity, and more. • Updates to Translated Terminology- Some Terminologies are updated including tab and field names for our Finnish, Russian, Thai, Traditional Chinese, Czech, Hungarian, Romanian, and Turkish language users. Force.com Development • Improvements to Deployment Monitoring- Improvements to Deployment Monitoring- Salesforce improved the status messages listed on the Monitor Deployments page to provide more information about the cancellation, success or failure of a deployment when you’re using the Force.com Migration Tool. • Flexible API Limit (Pilot)- Flexible limits apply to the number of API requests per 24-hour period for these APIs: • REST API • SOAP API • Deleting Components in a Managed Package (Pilot)- This feature was not supported in previous releases. You can delete custom fields and tabs from a managed package, both declaratively, from the user interface, and programmatically, using the Metadata API.   11. Force.com Customization • Working for the User Object(Beta)- You can now create workflow rules and actions for the User object. With support for the User object, you can set up workflow rules to: • Send welcome email messages with training resources to newly created users. • Send email alerts when users change roles or are deactivated. • Use field updates to deactivate temporary employees after a specified period. • Use outbound messages to sync user data with third-party systems. • Search in Setup(Beta)- With Advanced Setup Search, you can search for Setup pages, custom profiles, permission sets, public groups, roles, and users from the sidebar in Setup. • Freezing User Account- You can temporarily suspend a user account that requires more work to deactivate. • New Limit of 30 Steps per Approval Process- The limit on the number of approval steps per approval process was increased from 15 to 30.   12. Site.com • Multilingual Site Support Generally Available- Multilingual site support lets site administrators and designers create different language versions of a site. New Language View: 1) to the Site Configuration section of the Overview tab. 2) that lets you switch between the available languages when editing the content of a page.

Site.com • Sandbox Enabled for Force.com- Site.com is now supported on sandbox environments for both Site.com sites and Site.com community sites. • HTML Import- Site.com Studio now supports importing HTML pages. With this new feature, you can now import entire websites. If you create a zipped file that includes the folder structure and assets of your website, you can import it. Site.com will duplicate the folder structure from the zipped file when importing it. This saves you from having to recreate your existing site and the assets from scratch. • New Broken Link Finder- The broken link finder helps you search your pages for broken links. This is especially useful when importing HTML pages. • Inline Editor- With Live Mode, you can now quickly edit text using the new inline editor. And because you’re editing the text inline, you always know exactly how the finished page will look when it’s live. Mobile • Chatter Mobile- • Chatter Mobile Settings Are Now Managed As Connected Apps- The Chatter mobile app settings managed in the Salesforce user interface have moved to connected apps. • Access Chatter Mobile From Salesforce Email Notification- iPhone and iPad users can now launch Chatter Mobile directly from Salesforce emails. • Salesforce Mobile Rebranded to Salesforce Classic- Salesforce Mobile, the original Salesforce CRM mobile app, is now Salesforce Classic for Android™, BlackBerry® and iPhone® devices. • Mobile Packaging- Mobile Packaging allows you to seamlessly define, categorize, and deploy mobile apps to your organization through Connected Apps.
