  2. Problem Statement An occupational therapist is seeing an influx of young patients with Cerebral Palsy. To meet the increased demand, they are requesting new therapeutic toys to address the specific needs associated with CP.

  3. Design Statement We will design, build, and test a therapeutic toy that addresses the needs of occupational therapists working with young Cerebral Palsy patients with spastic quadriplegic.

  4. Criteria & Contrasts Criteria & Contrasts • Lightweight material • No Sharp Edges • Large Components • Easy to Grip Components • Soft Surfaces • Easily Sanitized • Can be used in a variety of positions • How long will it take to complete per age group
