  1. Automobile Engineering

  2. B.Tech (automobile engineering)is four years degree course. This is a branch of engineering that teaches the students about designing, manufacturing and operation and also about parts/components of motor vehicles of different types- four wheelers, three wheelers and two wheelers.Automobile is an integral part of everyday life of all and sundry and its performance in the areas of fuel consumption, safety, cost of maintenance and reliability has direct relationship with the socio-economic status of a country. Automobiles perform yeoman’s service and serve the society in multifarious ways. Hence it is essential to learn the nuances it’s designing, manufacturing, operation, safety etc. so that better performance can have the positive impact on the nation as a whole.Automobile engineering courseis designed to serve this purpose. As far as the content of B.Tech (automobile engineering) is concerned, it follows B.Tech( mechanical engineering) course to a large extent and also incorporates theoretical and practical inputs in specialized topics on automobile engineering.

  3. In these specialization papers, different aspects of automobiles are explained (theoretically) and demonstrated (practically) by competent, qualified and experienced faculty members. As we all know, India is now flourishing market for cars, 2 wheelers and also 3 wheelers. There are many world famous manufacturers who have started their operations along with established reputed national competent manufacturers for cars of different segments - large, medium, small.Intense competition has emerged leading to innovation hence there is bright prospect for automobile engineers in areas of production, operation, servicing/repairing,R & D organizations in both MNCs and national reputed company.Sanskriti Group of Institutions, through Sanskriti Institute of Polytechnic & Sanskriti School of Polytechnic is offering diploma (mechanical engineering) with specialization in automobile engineering which is a 3 years course affiliated to B.T.E., U.P. The students who have passed out in 2014 have already been placed in Maruti service centers, TATA motors and other reputed organizations dealing in automobiles. There is plenty of scope for diploma holders in mechanical engineering (with specialization in automobile) in various workshops, servicing centers and also in automobile manufacturing organizations.
