  5. Nature v. Culture • Is nature pure or wild? • Is it culture’s job to tame nature, or is it destroying nature? • In what ways do nature and culture interact? • Are these peaceful interactions?

  6. Society v. Individual • From where does political power derive? • Who does it serve? • Who should be protected? At what cost? • How does the individual view society? • How does society view the individual?

  7. Public v. Private • What are public spaces and what are private spaces? • What are the rights of these spaces? • What is public property? • What is private property? Slaves?
