TOSHIBA Infrared Test ApparatusTeam member: Ahmad Nazri Fadzal (EE), Nurfazlina Kamarudin (EE), Zamir Izam (EE), Wan Rahmatul Wan Othman (EE)Sponsor: Matthew Eshlemen, John Gawel, David Starling Problem to be solved Definition of need Database Mode Database Mode Panel • This project designed a piece of automated test equipment that will receive IR signals from the H93 television set, compare them against a known good pattern, and graphically display the results for each control signal tested • Toshiba’s goal is to achieve100% test coverage on all products. • For the new H93 integrated TV, Toshiba does not test the remote control of third party DVDs and VCRs. This capability is called “IR Blaster”.
