Formulation of Tourism Policies • Tax refund policy for international tourists who buy goods in Viet Nam; • Encourage tourists to purchase insurance; • Formulation of regulation for tourists visiting Vietnam by self driving their own cars. • Issuing criteria for classification of floating accommodation, tourist sites, tourist areas, tourist service units.

Programs on Tourism Promotion Overseas promotion: • Participating in travel trade fairs and exhibitions (Travex, ITB, MITT, Top Resa, JATA, CITM, ITB Asia, WTM) • Organizing Vietnam’s roadshow and events in Russia, Scandinavia, Japan, China, S.Korea, Australia, India. • Advertisements on mass media
