Experiences in the sector of education • Mainstreaming and special support go hand in hand • Bangladesh: • Training of teachers and government officials • Support to Government: technical advice and coordination • 8,000 children included in regular classes • Nepal: • Knowledge and capacity building of children in Child Clubs • 400 children included in Child Clubs > 4% • Philippines: • Preparatory and support classes in regular schools • Special education classes in regular teacher’s training • 400 teachers availed special education sessions
