Harry Coumnas Very Well Knows the Highest Planetary Protection Priority Being a renowned astronomer, Harry Coumnas has been highly inclined towards protecting the solar system bodies from contamination by Earth life. He works to make a mark in the field of astronomy through his passion to make new discoveries. Pertaining to his role as planetary protection officer, he worked to assist in the construction of sterile spacecraft, the development of plants to protect Earth from returned extraterrestrial samples, and formulation and application of space policy. Considering his job as most exciting, he loves to travel at super speeds in spacecrafts and sipping a drink at Space Station. Besides, he spends long hours while on a mission and conducts research after gathering his observations from the outer space. Being into planetary protection, Harry believes that it is concerned with the avoidance of organic-constituent and biological contamination in human and robotic space exploration. Harry Coumnas considers it his responsibility to protect the Earth from the potential hazards posted by extraterrestrial matter carried by a spacecraft returning from an interplanetary mission. He states that the greater capability of human explorers can contribute to the exploration of Mars only if human-associated contamination is controlled and understood.
