International training and sport centre CenkoviceIntroduction Project „International training and sports centre Čenkovice“ is project of the building of supraregional training and sport centre for the realization of the complex projects in tourist trade oriented primarily on the development of social and cultural solidarity of kids and families from Czech Republic and other EU countries. The project in question concerns invemstment in building plots in the skiing centre of Cenkovice in Eagle Mountains. Cenkovice is a recreation spot situated in a romantic valley below Bukova Mountain (960 metres above sea level) in nature park of Bukohorska hornatina (the part of the Eagle Mountains). The leisure centre of Cenkovice has become the largets skiing centre in the newly-established Pardubice region.

International training and sport centre CenkoviceCenkovice – suitable locality for the realisation of the project • Purest air in Czech Republic • Cenkovice is among five centres with the purest air in Czech Republic • The leisure centre of Cenkovice has become the largets skiing centre in the newly-established Pardubice region. • Ideal access by transport : • Distance from Prague 170 km • distance from Ostrava 150 km • Distance from Brno 120 km • Distance from Aleš Valenta´s Acrobat Park(Gold Olympic Champion in Freestyle from Salt Lake City 2002) – 15 km • Cenkovice lays nearby the other ski centres i Eagle Mountains – Ricky,Destne,Rokytnice and Kralicky Sneznik(20-40 km)
International training and sport centre CenkoviceProject´s investments • The building of suitable accommodations (no barrier type) for 100 people • The building of multifunction training centre • The building of multifunction training ski centre with adequate facilities (chair skilift, artificial snowing, lighting) • The building of the other sports infrastructure for the wholeyear usage (kid´s pitch, indoor tennis hall,bowling) • The building of technical rear of the centre (ICT solution, parking place, ecological solution).

International training and sport centre CenkoviceStrategical assets of the project • Resolved ownership of the lands necessary for the realisation of the project • Demnostrable conformity of the project with approved territorial plan for urban area from the September 22nd 2003 Krú 3232/2002 OSRK • Demnostrable conformity of the project with the requiremts of living environments (elaborated EIA study, Natura 2000 study, noise study) • Demonstrable economic return of the project(Feasibility study) • Full support from Pardubice City Council (the biggest project in tourist trade in Pardubice region)
International training and sport centre CenkovicePublic benefit of the project • Creating of the background for practical deepening of social and cultural integration of the people from CR, Ireland and other EU countries with demonstrable contribution primarily for youth • Creating of the background for grave social and sports self-realization of handicaped people • Creating of demand for local entrepreneurs • Creating of 30-35 new jobs in the region with high unemployee rate
International training and sport centre CenkoviceProject funding Possibility 1 : Total estimated investment – ar.300 M CZK (12.500.000,- EUR) - 85 M CZK (3.550.000,- EUR) - Plot - 50 M CZK (2.100.000,- EUR) - electrocity, water supply, canalization - 160 M CZK (6.700.000,- EUR) - Build-up of proposed buildings – houses, hotel, ski slope, cable railway ….) Possibility 2 : The company L&P plus, spol. s r.o is for selling by 70 M CZK (2.900.000,- EUR).
International training and sport centre Cenkoviceactual situation In the year 2003 and 2008 was done: • Study EIA for the whole project, Natura 2000 study, Noise study • Complete hydrogeological research of the whole locality • Complete drainage of all lands(272.000sq.m) • Digital geodetical allocation of lands • Demolition works(old cowsheed and farm) • Complete decontamination of former cowsheed • Complete grubbing of skislopes • The construction of new access road incl.parking place • The construction of skilift for beginners and intermediate skiers – length 360 m • The construction of covered snack bar • Submission the following projects: project for the construction of water reservoir project for the system for production of artificial snow project for redevelopment of former cowsheed to hotel project for the construction of new chairskilift project for the construction of sewage plant for 500 people(in cooperation with Cenkovice City Council)
