  2. THE HISTORY OF THE TEN COMMANDMENTS • The Ten commandments were a set of commandments given to mosses when he was escaping from Egypt with all the slaves. The ten commandments can be found in Exodus 20 and Deuteronomy 5. Mosses was sent up mount Sinai by God. When moses came down from mount Sinai he had two stone tablets. The commandments were written on one tablet but when moses got to the bottom of Mount Sinai he broke them in two and held one in each hand. The scripture reference for the ten commandments is Exodus 20.

  3. THE FIRST COMMANDMENT THOU SHALT HAVE NO OTHER GODS VALUES GOD/FAITH, RESPECT, TRUST, LOVE My Son, forget not My law, but let thine heart keep my commandment, proverbs 3:1

  6. THE FOURTH COMMANDMENT REMEMBER THE SABBATH DAY TO KEEP IT HOLY VALUES GOD/FAITH, TRUST, RESPECT, WISDOM Thou shalt worship the lord thy god. And him only shalt thy serve. Luke 4:8

  7. THE FIFTH COMMANDMENT honor thy father and mother VALUES RESPECT, LOVE, FAMILY, HOME Little children, keep yourselves from Idols. John 5:21

  8. THE SIXTH COMMANDMENT THOU SHALT NOT MURDER VALUES TRUST, RESPECT, FREEDOM, KINDNESS That the name of God and his doctrine be not blasphemed 1 Timothy 6:1

  9. THE SEVENTH COMMANDMENT THOU SHALT NOT COMMIT ADULTRY VALUES RESPECT, TRUST,HONESTY. Thou shalt not commit adultry 5:27

  10. THE TENTH COMMANDMENT THOU SHALT NOT STEAL VALUES KINDNESS, RESPECT, FREEDOM Thou shalt not steal Matthew 19:18

  12. THE TENTH COMMANDMENT THOU SHALT NOT COVET VALUES TRUST, KINDNESS, HONESTY THOU SHALT NOT COVET. ROMANS 7:7
