  1. NELLORE SHG Self-Help Groups (SHG) The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has been making headlines in Nellore with its Latest Political News and initiatives. In recent years, the TDP Party has focused on uplifting and empowering women in the region through various schemes and programs. It states that an SHG is a small group of persons who come together with the intention of finding a solution to a common problem such as medical issues, watershed management, or livelihood generation with a degree of self-sufficiency. The State and National government initiatives have been used by SHGs to implement poverty alleviation programs in the state of Andhra Pradesh since 1979. More than 4.8 million poor women are empowered and mobilized into SHGs which are Self-help groups under the Leadership of N. Chandrababu Naidu and some of the Top TDP Leaders. One such initiative is the Self-Help Group (SHG) program, which aims to provide financial assistance to women in the form of bank linkages and loans. According to the Latest News of TDP, 5.21 lakh SHG women in Nellore have been provided bank linkages worth Rs.3,284.18Crs. Additionally, 1.85 lakh SHG women have received loans worth 202.45 Crs. under the StreeNidhi program. The PasupuKumkuma program has also benefited 4.31 lakh SHG women with an amount of Rs.422.12 Crs. These initiatives have not only provided financial stability to women in the region but have also empowered them to start their own businesses and contribute to the economic growth of Nellore. The TDP's focus on women's empowerment has earned them the support of many Nellore residents and political leaders in the region. In addition to their initiatives for women, the TDP has also been working on various other issues affecting Nellore.
