District EOCs, DFAs and State EOCs District EOCs- District designed Paper and computer based Covers 3 quarters of material Major Test Grade in 3rd 9 weeks District DFAs District Formative Assessment (DFA)- Every 9 weeks 4th Quarter DFA = 20% of Final Grade • State EOCs- • State designed • Algebra 1 • Geometry • Algebra 2 • US History • Biology

IB Testing • Exams administered in May • Diploma vs Certificate • College credit • Full Diploma students can earn between 30-42 college credits. • Certificate students can earn 3-6 credits for each course taken. • IB scores range from 1-7 points and include not only the IB exam itself, but also “Internal Assessment” activities valued at 20%. • We began giving IB exams four years ago and have gone from giving 30 exams in 2011 to 422 last year. Last year we tested 92 full diploma students and close to 100 “certificate” students.
