  2. Good dental care is essential for children to ensure they have healthy teeth and gums as they grow. Establishing good oral hygiene habits from an early age can prevent cavities, gum disease, and dental issues. We'll explore important dental care tips for kids to help parents and caregivers keep those young smiles bright and healthy.

  3. DENTAL CARE TIPS FOR KIDS

  4. DENTAL CARE TIPS 01 START EARLY Dental care should begin as soon as your child's first tooth appears. Before teeth erupt, clean their gums with a soft cloth or infant toothbrush. This sets the stage for a lifetime of good oral hygiene. 02 CHOOSE RIGHT TOOTHBRUSH AND TOOTHPASTE Select a child-sized toothbrush with soft bristles and a fluoride toothpaste specifically designed for kids. Use a pea- sized amount of toothpaste for children under six to prevent swallowing. 03 PROPER BRUSHING TECHNIQUE Teach your child the correct brushing technique. Hold the brush at a 45-degree angle to the gums and brush gently in circular motions. Don't forget to brush the tongue and the roof of the mouth. 04 REGULAR BRUSHING Encourage your child to brush at least twice a day, particularly before bedtime. Supervise young children until they can brush independently, usually around age GALLERY 7 or 8. 12

  5. DENTAL CARE TIPS 05 FLOSSING IS KEY Start flossing when your child's teeth touch, usually between ages 2 and 6. Flossing helps remove food particles and plaque between teeth, preventing cavities. 06 HEALTHY DIET Limit sugary snacks and beverages. A balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and dairy products supports healthy teeth and gums. 07 REGULAR DENTAL CHECK-UPS Schedule regular dental visits for check- ups and cleanings. Early detection of dental issues can prevent more significant problems. 08 FLUORIDE PROTECTION Use fluoride toothpaste and ensure your child drinks fluoridated water if available in your area. Fluoride strengthens tooth enamel, making it more resistant to cavities. 12 GALLERY
