Welcome to ICF Leadership • As a Chapter Leader, you are a leader at one of 119 Chapters worldwide that are the face and brand representative of ICF in 56 countries. • ICF supports Chapters worldwide with our network of six Regional Service Centres. • Our two newest RSC managers are currently onboarding in European and Asian regions.

RSC Communications • The Regional Service Centres allow the ICF to more effectively serve a growing global community. • They play a key customer service role, assisting in Chapter creation, regional activities, and servicing the day-to-day needs of the membership. • They serve as a great resource for ICF Members and Chapter Leaders offering assistance in multiple languages. • Your RSC manager is your first point of contact for the region

  11. ICF Membership • More than 23,100 members in 56 countries. • Almost 12,000 active ICF Credential holders. • All new and renewing members are bound by Membership Eligibility Requirements. • All ICF Members agree to abide the ICF Code of Ethics

Member Eligibility • Must satisfy one of these qualifications for membership • have completed at least 60 hours of coach specific training • currently enrolled in an ICF approved or accredited 60-hour coach training program • hold a current ICF Credential. • Members enrolled in ACTP or ACSTH programs must look to complete 60-hour training program by April 2015.

Chapter Leadership Coaching Program • Opportunity for incoming Chapter Presidents to be matched with past Chapter Presidents for one-on-one coaching sessions over an eight month period to explore Chapter operation and leadership concerns. • Please email Matt Varney (Matt.Varney@coachfederation.org) to learn more.

  14. Director of Chapter Development • New position established to assist Chapters in developing the most sustainable models of operation. • Identifying additional tools and resources to help leaders realize their vision for the Chapter. • Matt Varney (matt.varney@coachfederation.org)

  16. Download Membership List • All Chapter Board members have access to download membership lists • Membership lists updated in “real time.” • Sortable information makes contact with the members easier. • Opportunities for outreach in unaffiliated member regional lists monitoring.

Annual Chapter Reporting • Chapter annual financial and activity report links for the 2013 fiscal year will be distributed 4 March 2014 • Chapter specific links for each chapter will be communicated to chapter president • Expectation for submission of these is 3 June 2014 • Continued Chapter rebate dispersal is contingent on completion of requested reporting

Post Chapter Events on Calendar • All Chapter leaders have access to add or edit events to the ICF Global Calendar. • You can list up to one year’s worth of Chapter presentations (including CCEUs, bridge line listing, etc.). • Many Chapters are using this for revenue generation and community engagement.

  19. International Coaching Week • 2014 Dates are: May 19 - 25 • Projects range from one-day conferences to laser coaching in cafes, media appearances, pro-bono coaching engagements, etc. • Elevates coaching awareness in community. • Add your ICW Chapter event(s) to the map! You can post and review local events at www.Coachfederation.org/coachingweek.

  20. Chapter Leader Updates • Monthly communications with everything you need to know about ICF and Chapters and better integration between the two groups. • Distributed the first Monday of every month (directly to your email inbox) from ICF Global.

  21. Wednesdays with Whittle • One minute monthly YouTube videos with ICF Director of Membership Don Whittle on everything you will ever need to know about ICF and membership. • Find these videos on the ICF Headquarters YouTube channel: www.Youtube.com/ICFHeadquarters.

  22. Regional Advisory Councils • Asia-Pacific • Latin America • Europe/Middle East/Africa • North America: Northeast, Midwest, West, Southeast • Sharing best practices, and maximizing communication and collaboration within the regional communities.

Branded Events • Three ICF Global Conferences in 2014: • Cleveland, Ohio, USA June 19-21 • Malmö, Sweden September 18-20 • Rio, Brasil November 14-15 • Regionally hosted events. • ICF Advance 2014: Science of Coaching (second ICF Advance event) scheduled May 29-31, 2014 in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.

ICF Brand – One Voice • Chapters are brand ambassadors. • Each Chapter has its own ICF logo with Chapter name, all Chapters are in brand alignment. • ICF logo and Chapter names are for use on Chapter website header, newsletters, marketing materials, Boards of Directors’ email signatures, etc.

  25. Marketing of ICF Chapter • ICF Store contains a wealth of materials (www.Coachfederation.org/onlinestore). Items are available for purchase by ICF members and leaders. • ICF Chapter Toolkit (at www.Coachfederation.org) contains many resources for leaders. • ICF Headquarters’ YouTube channel holds many useful videos (at www.Youtube.com/ICFHeadquarters). • Social Media outlets are also quickly emerging as one of the best communication strategies.

  26. Twitter Ambassador Program • ICF generates a series of tweets about the ICF and the coaching profession each week. • Chapters can easily use these tweets throughout the week on their own Twitter feeds. Either copy and paste the text or use it as a starting point for your own tweets. • The message is emailed every Monday to Chapter Leaders. If you want to add someone from your Chapter to the mailing list, email Kristin (kristin.kelly@coachfederation.org).

ICF Member Toolkit • Resource of all things ICF for members. • Includes fliers on credentialing, coach training, presentations, as well as other documents. • Great resource for members to become familiar with the value of membership. • Accessible at www.Coachfederation.orgin the Member Only section (under Member Benefits).
