  2. 山櫻花的小檔案 • 山櫻花又名緋寒櫻、山櫻桃，薔薇科-梅屬植物，屬落葉喬木。 • 山櫻為非常優美的庭園樹，行道樹 。

  3. 山櫻花的產地 • 原產地是大陸華南、台灣、日本、琉球。 • 山櫻花普遍栽植於台灣全島低海拔至中海拔，最高可達 2,100 公尺處 。

  4. 山櫻花的生長特徵 • 臺灣山櫻為臺灣原生樹種，春天開花時整株無葉，滿樹垂吊著緋紅色的花朵，非常美麗壯觀。 • 花期較長，從10月份到翌年5月份都有開放，盛花期通常在1~3月份。

  5. 山櫻花的型態特徵 • 臺灣山櫻高度可達6公尺，葉單一，互生，倒卵狀長橢圓形至卵狀橢圓形或卵狀長橢圓形 。 • 山櫻花的花色有緋紅，粉紅等色，盛開時全株幾無葉，花下垂性，腋出，單瓣，三至五朵叢生。
