  3. Who is journey?????? • Journey is an American rock band from 1973-1987. The band was formed in San Francisco in 1973. Their top song, by far, is Don’t Stop Believin’. The members of the band are Steve Perry, lead singer. Neal Schon is the lead guitarist. Ross Valory on bass guitar and Deen Castronovo on drums.

  4. Who is the target audience: -We think that the target audience would be teenagers. But adults would definitely listen to this band as well. But most of all their target audience would be people who love to rock. BUT, some of their music may appal to kids our age too.

  5. What time was this band most popular: -This band was active from 1973-1987 but the time of when they were most popular was 1981-1983 because that was the time they released Don’t Stop Believin’. That was the time Journey was at the height of their career.

  6. How would we describe their music: -We would describe their music as being hard rock and sometimes soft rock. Some of their music is even inspiring. Their music is sometimes loud, high and always very good. But manly, Journey is a rock band.

  7. Describe lyrics or instruments used in a song -In the last slide when I said some of their songs are inspiring, this is one of those songs. Don’t Stop Beleivin’ obviously is telling us to not stop beleving. Some of the instruments that are used in this song is the drums, electric guitar, piano, and the normal guitar.

  8. What is Journey known for: -The thing that Journey is best known for is the rock style. Another thing that we know they are best known for is the song Don’t Stop Beleivin’. This song hit #9 on the Billboard Hot 100. That song is what Journey is best known for.

  9. Message their music is trying to communicate: - The song Don’t Stop Believin’ for example, is obviously telling us to not stop believin’. In general this song and a few other songs are inspiring especially this song.

  10. Our personal opinion of this artist: -Our opinion of Journey is that they are a good band with good songs and they make most of their songs very inspiring. We think that Journey is great, awesome and with their good songs most of them are well-written.
