  1. Bed bugs can be found anywhere in a home; however, the most likely places bed bugs are found are in mattresses, box springs, bed frames and couches. The living room or den is the place where families and friends congregate. Since we spend so much time on our couches, a blood meal is always available for a bed bug.

  2. Ranking as one of the largest problems is affordability for professional pest control. From our last two years demographics, over 63% of the nation cannot afford a professional. These people scan the internet or visit their local hardware store for a solution. Without proper understanding and training, people overuse and misuse these chemicals.

  3. A common concern is whether or not they transmit diseases. The bed bug has not been known to carry diseases, but they are known for reducing the quality of life of the bite victim. According to medical experts, the added stress from living with bed bugs can have a significant impact on the emotional health and well-being of certain individuals. Some of the effects of bed bug bites include: • Severe inflammation and serious rashes • Bulbous or blistering eruptions, staph infections or impetigo • Allergic reactions • Potential serious immune problems in sensitive people • Anemia and iron deficiencies (especially with babies and young children) • Anxiety and severe loss of sleep • Insomnia • Systemic Reactions
