  5. Climate Tropical climate in the north Rarely falls below 25ºC rarely goes over 35ºC in north Has two seasons hot and wet Ho Chi Minh city got 180cm rain between May and October

  6. Agriculture Rice is the crop harvested the most Wet rice is grow on irrigated paddies More work with wet rice but bigger amounts of money Also grow cashews, cassava, corn, peanuts, sweet potatoes

  7. Plants and Animals Raise chickens, ducks, hogs There is buffalo, crocodiles, snakes, monkeys, wild boars, otters and panthers mosses, vines, ferns and low lying plants There is rare deer and several frogs New type of cow called Vu Quang Ox

  8. Capital City Important Cities Hanoi is the capital Buddhist building built in 1744, 300 years old Buddhist building keep artifacts of history Ho Chi Minh city developed port

  9. Religion Buddhist people believe people and cats have 9 lives Very few Christen Christens take lessons about God Taosim made Dowsim religion 1600’s Catholicism became Christens faith

  11. Education 15 year olds know how to read and write well age 6 to 10 required to be at school universities and agriculture colleges also in education technical schools, private business academies are there too

  13. Food National noodle soup called Pho Fish sauce called nuoc mam used for seasoning Green tea main drink Sugar cane juices, coconut milk, soft drinks also drank

  15. Transportation Traveling is hard few people can buy a car Trains really slow flying is very expensive roads need a lot of work because of Vietnam war
