When 2D Routing • Issues to consider: - • Tools, Offsets, Depths of Cut • Clearance moves between profiles • Speeds, Feeds need to be added. • Motion of the tool is often quite different from the shape being produced, e.g. hole • Items such as pockets, islands etc need to be identified and dealt with. • Each software package takes a distinctive and unique approach to addressing the above
