Results of training leaders _ Good programs supported by young peoples’ interest in the unit. _ Young people stay in Scouting longer. _ Tenure of trained leaders is longer than that ofuntrained leaders. _ The relationship between the unit and the charteredorganization is stronger when unit leadersfully understand their jobs. _ There is a better chance that the ultimate objectivesof Scouting will be achieved when unit leaders understand the techniques of their jobs.
