No period needed at end. • Number rule • If you have a 1, you MUST HAVE a 2 • If you have a 3, you DO NOT necessarily need a 4. • Letter Rule • If you have an A, you MUST have a B. • If you have a C, you DO NOT necessarily need a D.

  3. Rules • Your paper WILL FOLLOW the organization of your outline. • The outline’s purpose is to help you determine the order of information in your paper! • **Do not use complete sentences in your subtopic sections.**
