  3. RIM SPOKES HUB

  4. Spokes: • Each Wheel Has Only 32 spokes for Both Front & Rear Wheels; • The Mechanical Characteristics of the Hub Spoke Connection Point Is 3 times Stronger Than For the Equivalent OE Nipple Spoked Wheels. • The Spoke Diameter at the Center is Smaller in Order to Reduce Overall Hub Weight; • The Rock Wheel Spokes Are Completely Straight When Compared to the Standard OE Wheel Spokes which Lose Their Stiffness during assembling whereas The Rock Straight Spokes ACTUALLY Increase the Wheel’s Stiffness By Over 30%! • By Design The Rock Wheels Do Not Require to have their Spokes Regularly Tightened Meaning Less Maintenance and Concern For the Rider; • The Rock Does Not Use Nipples Therefore Overall Wheel Weight Is Reduced and Wheel Stiffness Is Also Increased As a Direct Result. • Dry-loc plastic is applied on the spoke thread: this special polimer creates mechanical interference removing most of the risk of the Spoke Unwinding and becoming loose: (See Picture No. 2); • Every Rock Wheel Has Its Spokes Positioned Identically for ALL Models of Motorcycles Covered in the Range Application List:

  6. SPOKES FIXING:

  7. HUB • 5-Axis Machining Technology; • The Rock Wheel Hubs are Lightweight When Compared to their OE / Aftermarket Equivalent Hub’s; • The Rock Wheels By Design Are Completely Interchangeable with their OEM Counterparts: The Hub Measurements are Identical and as such The Rock Wheels are literally a «Plug & Play» Option For Quick and Easy Installation Onto the Subject Bike; • The Rock Wheel Hub has been Designed to Give Greater Strength To The Bearing Mounting Point and The Spoke Connection Point to the Hub. This Design Resists Higher Levels of Hub Deformation Under Spoke Operating Loadings. • The Tolerances Between the Bearing and the Hub Are More Precise;

  8. HUB DETAILS: OE Hub Rock Hub

  9. RIM • D.I.D. DIRT STAR RIMS; • 5 Axis Machining Technology; • The Rock Spoke Design Eliminates The Traditional Spoke Punch Protruding Bump Holes: this ‘Significantly Reduces’ Rim Machining Times with consequential Increase In ‘Rim Profile Precision’; • The Rock Rims have Clean Cut Spoke Holes Giving a More Precise Machined Finish to the Rims and Reducing Overall Wheel Weight & Consequential Inertia Reduction; • Precise Alignment of The Spokes With the Rim Inner Surface; • Every Rock Wheel Rim Is Identical Across All Model Applications.

  10. RIM MACHINING Rock Rim OE Rim

  11. TECHNICAL ADVANTAGES • Higher Resistance to the 3 Traditional Wheel Stresses: • 1)RADIAL  impact and jumps • 2) LATERAL  direction changes • 3) TORSIONAL  braking and acceleration • Weight reduction : • 1) No Spoke Nipples • 2) Extremely Lightweight Hub • 3) Reduced Spokes Numbers • Cleaning : No Dust Deposits as with Traditional Spoked Wheels Around the Spoke Nipples;
