  2. Note from Author I got this idea from one of the presentations from the BACHA Conference. Cupcake ArtI told my residents that they could come down an decorate cupcakes and a ton of people showed up. I set up different stations with the cupcakes and all the different toppings. Each station meant a different thing. Cupcakes represented gender, Frosting represented major, different colored sprinkles represented a hobby, and different colored M&Ms represented religion. I did a diversity program based on these options because my school does not have a lot of racial diversity. People were invited to share what their cupcake represented. This showed the residents that there is diversity on the campus and that they can connect with a variety of people based on different characteristics.
