  3. A. Believed that people could discover truth if they knew how to think B. Walked throughout Athens trying to teach people how to think C. The Socratic Method is the form of questioning when each question he asked was designed to get people to arrive at a final conclusion (truth) II. Socrates

  4. D. Sentenced to death in public by drinking poisonous hemlock juice…they later regretted this decision, so they put up a statue in his honor

  5. A. Plato was an Aristocrat & one of Socrates’ students B. He set up the Academy (school which lasted over 900 years) E. Believed in order and thought that politics should be run by the wise and good D. Created political science (study of government) III. Plato
