  8. Price • Total: $3200 (with taxes and airport fees) • Deposit of 195$ + insurance cost. (not returned) • Insurance = $15/day (approximately – for travel and health) • Prices increase June 27th, but if five students enroll by June 26th, it will lock our tour fees for our entire group until the end of September • students who sign up later will have to pay higher rates ($100-$200)

  9. Price includes • Round-trip airfare • Sleeping/hotel accommodations • Cruise • Breakfast & Diner included (on their own for lunch) • Full-time services of a professional Tour Director • Guided sightseeing tours and city walks as per itinerary • Visits to select attractions as per itinerary

Price does not include • Passport and visa fees (non Canadian citizens must secure any necessary visas) • Airlines fuel surcharges (all subject to change) • Beverages at dinner • Lunch, unless specified in the itinerary • Optional excursions and/or extensions • Explorica Travel Protection with Cancel for Any Reason Guarantee • Local transportation to unscheduled activities • Tips to Tour Director, bus drivers, and cruise staff • Spending money

  11. Insurance • When you sign up, we require that you to take insurance with Explorica as it facilitates the situation should we need to use it in Greece. • $15/day • It is for both – pre and on tour (travel and health)

  13. Fundraising • No school organized fundraising for the trip • You may organize your own fundraising activities – however it has to be okayed by the school (legal). • When you contact us - We can also send you a letter for your activity should you need one.

Things you need to do soon • Get a passport, it will cost around $90 and takes about 4 months to process. • Make sure you are up to date with your shots, although no more are necessary for this trip – talk to you doctor. • Buy insurance (travel or health) as you book the trip. – we need proof of travel insurance.

  15. Things to do Sept-Dec. • Forms and student picture. • Make payments on the website. • Check teachers’ websites for information.

  16. Closer to the trip • Read over guide lines to what is permitted on a plane. • Break-in Walking shoes and pack comfortable clothes. • You can only bring what you can carry in one trip (from bus to room). • Medication • Exchange money in euros.
